This monster requires Protect from melee prayer on at all times, as he can hit constant 30s. If meleeing, poison him and then hit with a strong weapon, while keeping Prayer and hitpoints high. There are a few spots to hide, but skeletons may attack if hiding. There are no areas where you can attack but he can't, so keep Prayer on.
